Dr. Tiwalade Adeniyi is the Head of ESG at West Africa Blue, bringing over 13 years of experience in environmental sustainability and ESG impact management. He has extensive expertise working with major development financial institutions such as the World Bank, IFC, AfDB, and EIB, where he has developed sustainability strategies and managed ESG risk and impact across diverse sectors. Before joining West Africa Blue, Dr. Adeniyi served as Group Head of ESG Strategy at FMDQ Group PLC, where he led initiatives on ESG finance, sustainability reporting, and stakeholder engagement.​​

Dr. Adeniyi holds a PhD in Environmental Sustainability from the University of Lagos and an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology. He is a certified ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, ISO 37301 Lead Implementer, and has authored numerous publications on biodiversity and nature-based solutions. His work at West Africa Blue focuses on advancing the organization’s ESG strategy and ensuring the highest standards in sustainability and ethical governance across all projects.
