Tanya Bryan is the Director of Blue Carbon at West Africa Blue, with extensive international experience in ecosystem services, ocean governance and community-focused approaches to ocean management. Before coming to West Africa Blue, Tanya worked at GRID-Arendal, strategically developing a comprehensive programme of multi-national, complex projects in Norway, Europe, West Africa and globally, involving multiple organisations and a range of stakeholders, with an overall focus on bridging the gap from knowledge to action. In her work, she promotes peer-to-peer learning and local capacity development to ensure long-lasting positive impacts. Tanya holds a Master of Biological Oceanography from Dalhousie University.
