Max supports new markets entry and project development, focused on Francophone West Africa. He is part of the technical team, where he supports the analysis and writing that goes into core project development documents. He recently graduated from University College London, with a BSc in Business Management and Ocean Engineering. He wrote his undergraduate research paper with Dutch NGO The Ocean Clean up, where he examined ocean/river plastic pollution, modelled currents to observe plastic dispersion in the open ocean and considered the risks to insurance policies for major freight forwarders. That experience nourished and expanded his enthusiasm for ocean conservancy when he became curious about blue carbon markets, ultimately leading him to West Africa Blue.
