Ebuka is an expert in geospatial analysis and supports the assessment of West Africa Blue’s projects using satellite imagery and remote sensing techniques. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh on ‘Mangrove Carbon Stocks in the Niger Delta’. He is currently a post-doctoral research associate at the University of Edinburgh and in that capacity has supported studies on carbon dynamics of South African savannas and predicting cocoa yield in West Africa. Ebuka also consulted with the World Bank and NASA to map mangrove forests in Guinea for the Guinean Government to assess carbon potential and the valuation of their coastal ecosystems.
